A Royal Welcome For DEEP PURPLE In India

Purple is the color of royalty; and it's going to be a royal welcome all the way when rock band DEEP PURPLE arrive in Bangalore. The Taj Westend, where the band will be staying, has quite a spectacle planned for their guests — purple lights, purple drinks and even purple bathrobes!!

"Apart from purple things in their rooms, we wanted to get them a taste of India to the maximum as well since they enjoy India a lot. They will have a number of Anglo-Indian dishes since they are from Britain — things like curry for instance, since curry is popular in the U.K.," said PK Mohan Kumar, GM, Taj Westend.
